Dr. Monika Docteur is a highly experienced and dedicated physical therapist with over 28 years of expertise in a diverse range of clinical settings. She is passionate about helping patients of all ages achieve their optimal level of physical function and well-being.

Dr. Docteur obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from Russel Sage College, followed by the completion of her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Utica College. Her extensive educational background, combined with her years of hands-on experience, equips her with a comprehensive understanding of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions.

 

Throughout her career, Dr. Docteur has worked in various settings, including outpatient clinics, orthopedic practices, school-based therapy, and home health care. This breadth of experience has allowed her to refine her skills in treating patients ranging from infants as young as 4 weeks old to individuals over 102 years old. Her commitment to lifelong learning is demonstrated by her certifications in the McKenzie Method, a specialized approach to treating spinal disorders, and the Sarah Meets Method for Osteoporosis, which focuses on promoting bone health and preventing fractures.

 

Outside of her professional endeavors, Monika finds joy in staying active and promoting wellness in her personal life. She enjoys biking through scenic trails, cultivating her garden, and participating in various health and fitness activities. Her passion for maintaining a healthy lifestyle extends beyond her work, serving as an inspiration to those around her.
